O’Malley’s Oven is a specialty bakery that marries classic dessert with contemporary taste. Catering to dessert lovers of all kinds, with an emphasis on gluten free, we serve the Capital District and beyond.

Melanie O’Malley is a 518 native, raised in Columbia County, and has lived in Albany/Troy since 2003. Born from a family of creators and builders, with a theater background, she found her artistic medium in baking. After years of navigating the disappointing market of gluten free offerings, Melanie began making delicate, and delicious desserts for her celiac family. She founded O’Malley’s Oven in 2013.

The Oven offers a wide variety of desserts that play with flavor and texture, as well as a line of savory hand pies, and bake at home flour blends.
